We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to deliver actionable insights that drive business and mission outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.

  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.

  • Design and implement experiments (A/B testing, hypothesis testing) to support decision-making.

  • Build data pipelines and workflows to automate analytics processes.

  • Visualize insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Stay current with emerging data science tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics

Experience:

  • [2–5] years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Programming: Python, R, SQL

    • Machine Learning Frameworks: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch

    • Data Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, or similar

    • Big Data Tools: Spark, Databricks, Hadoop (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying models.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with NLP, deep learning, or computer vision.

  • Familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.

  • Prior government or large enterprise project experience.

  • Understanding of data governance, ethics, and compliance (FISMA, FedRAMP, etc. if federal).
