Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating drywall and stucco projects, ensuring that all aspects are accounted for to support our project management team. This position offers the opportunity for relocation to a vibrant area with a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall and stucco projects
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements and gather necessary information for estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain an organized database of estimates, project costs, and historical data for future reference
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and competitive pricing to ensure accurate estimations
Qualifications
- 2+ years commercial drywall estimating experience (required)
- Experience with both drywall & stucco projects
- OST & QuickBid proficiency (required)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate estimations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
