Facility Services company seeks an AREA SUPERVISOR for its Commercial Janitorial Services.

Experience in Janitorial/Cleaning Services is required.

Position is on company's corporate management team. Ideal candidate will bring previous janitorial experience and be able to assume management and supervisory duties in a fast-paced company serving commercial clients throughout Florida.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Lead and manage cleaning teams across various sites, ensuring adherence to company standards and protocols.
• Supervise daily operations, including scheduling, training, and performance management of staff.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
• Address clients promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Help with doing some of the work with crews, OJT, deliver cleaning supplies, inspect cleanliness of areas.
• Use of company vehicle for work activities.
• Cover open spots with floaters or self when necessary, avoiding overtime expenses
• Be able to occasionally travel for the day or overnight to our service locations if needed. Expected about 5% to 15% depending on needs.
• Area Supervisor will be "On-Call" for emergencies and operational needs and must be prepared to respond immediately
• Will have flexibility to conduct supervisory visits and work on some evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be over 25 and legally able to work in the U.S. We use E-Verify.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background screen.
• Must be able to comply with job requirements and responsibilities.
• Must speak English and Spanish.
• Must know basic MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of custodial practices.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred; residential experience is a plus.
• Previous porter experience is beneficial for understanding site-specific needs.
• Strong leadership, motivation and supervisory skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent written, spoken and reading skills in English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated, proactive, results focused and disciplined.
• Positive, talented and creative is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

· Good pay and benefits package at current market rate of $37,440.00 to $41,600.00 annually based on experience and salary history.
