Express Employment Professionals, Broward County South, FL is seeking a skilled Glass Fabricator to join a Glass Manufacturing company.
The Glass Fabricator’s responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate glass and cutting it to the required sizes, and ensuring that all safety standards are adhered to.
Ideal candidates should have knowledge of glass fabrication techniques and be familiar with standard equipment.
The role of the Glass Fabricator is to ensure high-quality and accurate glass fabrication that meets specifications and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret and execute blueprints or design specifications
• Select appropriate type of glass and cut it to specified sizes
• Operate glass fabrication machinery and hand tools
• Monitor glass in the kiln to control finish and color
• Inspect final product for quality, completeness, and conformance to blueprints
• Perform regular maintenance on fabrication equipment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with design and sales teams to meet client requirements
• Keep workspace clean and organized
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Glass Fabricator
• Knowledge of glass fabrication techniques and safety measures
• Experience operating standard glass fabrication equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints and design specifications
• Attention to detail and quality
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
• High school diploma or equivalent
The position is Monday - Friday 40 plus hours a week with a compensation range of $20 to $24 dollars an hour DOE. If this job calls to you and you possess the right skills, apply today!
