About the Role:
GMGVIP is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support our growing organization by resolving day-to-day technical issues related to computers, software, and hardware systems. This position plays a vital role in keeping our internal teams running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Operations
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate personnel
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Deploy hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage and track equipment inventory, assignments, and warranties
- Document system changes and maintain records under the relevant business entity
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding by managing user access and hardware
User Support & Preparedness
- Deliver training on systems and provide support for internal users
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and support special IT projects
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience as a help desk technician or in customer support
- Working knowledge of VoIP systems, desktop hardware, and multifunction printers
- Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals
- Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to solve technical problems and explain solutions clearly
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable to team environments
Preferred Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
