Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Tampa, FL 33605
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Full-Time, on-site in Tampa, FL 33605
- Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembly Technician to build and test aluminum extrusion frameworks and pneumatic valve manifolds. This position is based on-site in Tampa, FL, and plays a vital part in our production process.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble aluminum extrusion structures exactly to engineering drawings and specifications
- Construct and bench-test pneumatic valve manifolds and harnesses to verify proper operation
- Perform quality inspections on completed assemblies, checking measurements and adherence to standards
- Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming components; track usage and maintain accurate records
- Support production timelines by completing tasks efficiently; jump in on urgent shipping or facility needs as they arise
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with aluminum extrusion systems (this role is not entry-level)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics
- Familiarity with pneumatic valve manifolds and harness assemblies (strongly preferred)
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- 1–3 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
