About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO/President, you will apply strong analytical skills and hands-on problem-solving to a wide range of operational questions. Your work will blend data analysis with on-the-ground coordination, ensuring that insights translate into clear, actionable steps across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Extract information from our SQL environment and build advanced Excel models to answer operational “how much, how many, and where” questions.
- Problem-Solving with Leadership – Collaborate with the CEO to develop practical solutions to day-to-day business needs.
- Cross-Team Coordination – Share findings and action items with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and IT to keep everyone aligned.
- Implementation Tracking – Verify that agreed-upon changes are executed and document results for future reference.
Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas)
- Robust SQL – design and optimize complex queries, build views, and generate ad-hoc reports that support decisions
- AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to streamline research and analysis
- Demonstrated success solving real-world operations or logistics problems
Nice-to-Have Extras
- Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R for rapid dashboards/automation
- Experience evaluating equipment options or planning warehouse layouts
