The LPN Instructor in Nursing will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings and laboratory environments. This role requires a dedicated professional with a commitment to excellence in teaching and student success. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing and effective environment in an effort to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study.
Minimum requirements:.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing. All degrees must be from institutions accredited by regional or national accrediting bodies approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Foreign transcripts may be acceptable in some cases and require a translation and evaluation of equivalency to U.S. degrees by a recognized agency.
- Licensing as a Registered Nursing in Florida or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year of successful teaching experience required.
- Must be able to work weekends for clinicals.
