Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Handle administrative duties in a timely manner</li>
<li>Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff</li>
<li>Escort patients to exam rooms</li>
<li>Administer routine vaccines</li>
<li>Collect and document vitals</li>
<li>When possible, collect and perform routine (CLIA-waived) labs</li>
<li>Clean exam rooms between patient visits</li>
</ul>
​Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum experience: 1 year in a pediatric clinic</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Medical Assistant certification is preferred</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Great communication skills</li>
<li>Patience when working with children and adolescents</li>
<li>Be familiar and comfortable utilizing an EHR (electronic health record) system</li>
</ul>
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm; Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
All employees are required to wear a mask during clinic hours.
