Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Deltona, FL is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to fill a 13-week contract position. This role requires strong skills in Cath Lab imaging with a focus on interventional procedures. The right candidate will have recent hands-on experience and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac catheterization and vascular hybrid imaging procedures, including image overlays and road mapping
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment with precision and safety
- Collaborate closely with the cardiology team to ensure quality patient care during interventions
- Respond to on-call duties every other weekend and work a minimum of two additional days per week
- Adhere to all credentialing and licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience, preferably with vascular hybrid cases
- Current Florida license required
- Certification in at least one: RCIS, ARRT- CI, or RCIS ARRT
- Recent experience within the past 6 months is preferred
- Strong knowledge of imaging overlay techniques and road mapping procedures
- Able to work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Must have on-call availability and be pre-approved for overtime hours
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- On-call every other weekend
- At least 2 additional days per week
- Overtime available with pre-approval
