Job Title: Electronic Inspector
Temp to hire
1st shift: 10 AM to 6 PM
Pay rate: $33.10/hr
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
Position Summary:
• Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies.
• Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using Microscope, Eye Loup, and other means of Magnification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions, and other technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
• IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field, minimum 5 years Electronic Assembly Preferred
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in a technical field, such as engineering, quality engineering, or a related field preferred
Additional Information:
• The candidate will work in a manufacturing or production environment, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting • The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines • The candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols when working in the production area
