Our client is an affordable Housing Agency in Fort Lauderdale. They are an established but growing organization looking to add a Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k
Position Overview:
The Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor will lead various maintenance staff of the portfolio of properties to be compliant with guidelines and inspections. The ideal candidate for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor role is organized, driven, and has a strong working knowledge of facilities and operations. Significant travel is required (3 weeks per month).
Responsibilities of the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor:
- Prepare a portfolio of properties for maintenance duties.
- Train new hires as the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor.
- Take charge of compliance inspections.
- Teach new skills to current Property Managers.
- Vendor relationship management.
- Clear communication to support staff.
- Establish vision and strategic execution to increase the performance of properties.
- Partner with other government agencies.
Required Experience/Skills for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor:
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Affordable Housing Programs - Section 8, HUD, LIHTC.
- Driven.
- Organized.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor:
- Maintenance certifications are preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
