A K-12 school in Avon Park, FL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for the current school year contract position. This role is ideal for a professional experienced in providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student learning and behavior
- Analyze student data to guide educational decision-making and improve outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student development
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
