Who We're Looking For
FHE Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate EMDR Therapist to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing trauma-related conditions. This role focuses on helping clients process traumatic experiences, reduce symptoms, and improve overall mental health and functioning while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and establish individualized treatment goals
- Develop, implement, and adjust trauma-focused treatment plans
- Provides EMDR therapy in individuals and group settings
- Monitors client progress and modify interventions as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Collaborate with psychiatrist, therapist, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated client care.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active Florida LCSW or LMHC license (LMFT or CAP-only certifications are not eligible).
- Formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy (required)
- Experience working with trauma-affected individuals preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
