Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in insurance defense cases, focusing on litigation and trial court proceedings. This role requires a thorough understanding of insurance policies and the ability to navigate complex legal issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance defense litigation cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on insurance law matters.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation when appropriate.
  • Prepare for and attend trials, presenting evidence and arguments to the court.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective defense strategies.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and changes in insurance law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in FL.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong understanding of third-party insurance and trial court procedures.
