Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Longwood, FL! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist II
Location: Longwood, FL 32750
Shift Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday 6:30 AM–3:30 PM
Saturday: 6:30 AM–12:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $21-24/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimen collections
- Prepare, process, and handle specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures
- Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling in the patient’s presence
- Obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm proper specimen labeling
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records
- Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under area supervisor direction
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence
- Float between Patient Service Centers, physician offices, or other assigned locations as needed
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
