JOB OVERVIEW:

To support the successful day to day operations of the Housekeeping Department.

To coordinate with the Housekeeping Team to ensure all Exterior areas of the Hotel is clean and guest ready.

ESSENTIALS JOB FUNCTIONS:

Learn how to report in Hotel System Synergy and operate Hotel Relay System.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep pool deck and accessible ramp, all stairwells in the Villa/ Pool Area.
• Do trash pickup as necessary around the villas, Bungalows, and pool area
• Empty trashcans around the exterior property e.g Villas, Bungalows, and common areas.
• Maintain Bike Station and exteriors of all Villas and Bungalows.
• Power wash Front Drive every once per week.
• Clean communal courtyard to include all outdoor furniture and check for stains on furniture.
• Report stains to Housekeeping for cleaning.
• Sweep in front of Lantana and Jasmine back entrance
• High dust hallways, check for cobwebs on exterior of the villas
• Clean walkways between villas, towards street, towards pool and parking lot
• Visit bike area: make sure all bikes are clean and the area is well-maintained
• Ensure all guest entrance doors are cleaned daily
• Spot carpet cleaning as necessary in villas and Bungalows.
  • Check all outdoor cushions (especially on rainy days, check for mold/mildew) if dirty, take it to laundry to be cleaned.
  • Operate Leaf blower for cleaning daily around villas and Bungalows.
  • Cleaning of villas and bungalows balconies especially the glass French doors (knobs and glass) and all windows.
• Cabana Grill area to be cleaned and well maintained daily.
• Water plants in pots in common area, outside on the balconies and inside the villas on the balconies and around the pool area.
• Ensure the common area where the fountain is located by the villas is maintained cleaned by sweeping it and water is added to the fountain.
• Maintain the big balcony in poinciana (the umbrella is clean, cushions and chairs are clean, as well as no green stain on the balcony.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma preferred.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience required
Licenses/Certifications: N/A

• Ability to work in a Team environment
• Exceptional phone etiquette.
• Ability to speak a second language is an asset.

Physical Requirements and Additional Working Conditions:

• Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
• Continually works in normal office conditions and in close proximity to others.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Outdoor weather conditions
• Stand for long periods of time when necessary.
• Kneel and/or stoop repeatedly
