Job Description
We are a small, locally owned furniture refinishing shop looking for a dependable **part-time Store & Painting Assistant** to help with day-to-day tasks in our showroom and workshop.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, light creativity, and keeping things organized. Most of the time you’ll be working alongside the owner, but there will be times you’re trusted to work independently.

Responsibilities
* Greet customers and help answer basic questions
* Man the store during open hours
* Light cleaning and upkeep (mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces, organizing)
* Assist with simple furniture painting tasks (sanding, priming, painting small pieces, touch-ups)
* Help move and stage furniture (must be able to lift up to ~50 lbs with assistance)
* Follow instructions closely and complete tasks as directed

Requirements
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
* Comfortable working independently at times
* Willing to learn basic painting and refinishing techniques (training provided)
* Must be detail-oriented and take pride in clean, neat work
* No professional painting experience required

Schedule & Pay
* **Part-time:** Approximately 20-26 hours per week
* **Pay:** $16/hour
* Schedule will generally align with store hours, with some flexibility
*Possible pay increase with 60 days of success in our store!
