Job Description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to assist with the delivery and set-up of pump equipment on client sites. The role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and setting up pump equipment and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by ensuring all pumping equipment and accessories are delivered or picked up.
• Ensure equipment is loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel.
• Review all items being delivered or picked up with the customer to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Document logs of mileage and deliveries.
• Assist in the set-up of pumping equipment.
• Properly instruct customers on equipment operation and answer their questions or get the answers for them.
• Break down and pick up rental equipment with customer assistance.
• Account for, determine the condition of, and return all rental equipment to the branch following standard procedures and documentation.
• Perform daily on-site service calls to diagnose and repair minor service issues.
• Provide 24/7 emergency on-call service as assigned by a schedule determined by the Service Manager.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of driving experience.
• 1+ years of mechanical experience.
• Experience with hand tools, blueprints, troubleshooting, and truck operation.
• Knowledge of pumps, pumping stations, and water treatment.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and field service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to set up equipment correctly.
• Basic mechanical ability and working knowledge of diesel-powered equipment.
• Good sense of direction and ability to read a map.
• Experience loading or unloading construction equipment is helpful.
• No specific license required for driving a Ford 450.

Work Environment

The position is for the 1st shift, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves driving to different sites and working outside, delivering and setting up pumps.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
