Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation
- Prepare and set up Fanuc Controlled CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) for production runs.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
- Operate CNC equipment to produce parts within tolerance levels.
- Monitor machine for unusual sounds or vibration.
- Insert material into machines, manually and with hoist.
- Remove finished products and smooth rough edges and imperfections.
- Programming & Adjustments
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Input or modify CNC programs to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Make tool changes and adjustments as needed during production.
- Quality Control
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain production records.
- Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or programming issues.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of Fanuc Controlled CNC.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
