Your Impact as a Lead Production Technician
Are you an experienced lead looking to optimize production processes on the 2nd shift (Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays from 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM)? Join us at KIK as we seek a dynamic Lead Production Technician who can elevate our operations. You'll manage daily activities, uphold quality standards and inspire a team of dedicated production staff. Your efforts are rewarded with an hourly pay of $22.00, a $.50 shift differential, and a quarterly 3% Operational bonus. Apply today!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production and packaging activities, ensuring alignment with safety regulations and product standards.
- Mentor and guide colleagues, coordinate efforts with Maintenance and Quality teams to keep machinery running smoothly.
- Track production metrics, conduct quality inspections, and spearhead initiatives to boost productivity.
- Maintain complete records, swiftly address production challenges, and ensure adherence to safety norms.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Adept problem-solver with keen decision-making skills, focused on quality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Competency in using computers for report generation and analysis.
Working Conditions
- Ability to handle extended periods of physical activity (up to 12 hours).
- Capacity to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Comfort in factory conditions with fluctuating temperatures, strong fumes, and high noise levels.
- Compliance with PPE requirements.
