Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Lake Worth, Florida. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in delivering speech and language therapy to students across all grade levels within the school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (FL SLP-CCC) is required
- Proven experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Position Details:
- Location: Lake Worth, FL
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Contract Type: School Year (CSY)
- Service Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and execute individualized therapy goals to improve communication skills
- Document student progress and provide reports as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
- Participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning
