Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Lake Worth, Florida. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in delivering speech and language therapy to students across all grade levels within the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (FL SLP-CCC) is required
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Position Details:

  • Location: Lake Worth, FL
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
  • Contract Type: School Year (CSY)
  • Service Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop and execute individualized therapy goals to improve communication skills
  • Document student progress and provide reports as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning
