Position Summary:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced Free Standing Emergency Department setting. This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage a wide range of patient acuity levels from minor injuries to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.

• Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.

• Develop and implement care strategies to achieve patient-centered outcomes.

• Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while prioritizing care needs.

• Provide follow-up care instructions and make appropriate referrals.

• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Range Based on Experience:

$27.72 per hour for approximately 5 years of experience

$36.30 per hour for approximately 10 years of experience

Up to $39.60 per hour for 15 or more years of experience

Sign-On Bonus:

$15,000 sign-on bonus

Additional Information:

Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements:

• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care Emergency Room RN experience
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma required
• Basic Life Support BLS required prior to employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
