Position Summary:
The Clinical Director at HealPrecisely Advanced Wound Care is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and driving operational excellence across all wound care services. This individual will lead, mentor, and collaborate with clinical staff to implement best practices, enhance patient outcomes, and support the growth of our advanced wound care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Oversight & Quality Management
- Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols, treatment plans, and care pathways for chronic and complex wounds.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics, patient outcomes, and documentation standards.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and licensing requirements.
- Oversee infection control and safety measures across clinical operations.
Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff.
- Support onboarding and training of clinical team members, and conduct performance evaluations of clinicians to ensure quality and consistency in care delivery.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high-quality patient care.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration
- Partner with executive leadership to expand wound care services and develop new clinical programs or initiatives.
- Support integration of new technologies, treatments, and documentation systems
- Collaborate with operations, HR, IT, and compliance departments to align clinical services with organizational goals.
Patient-Centered Care
- Ensure timely, compassionate, and effective care delivery in accordance with best practices.
- Review complex cases and support clinical staff in managing patients with multifactorial comorbidities.
- Promote continuity of care and effective communication with referring physicians, patients, and families.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Address patient complaints and adverse events with appropriate follow-up, documentation, and reporting.
