Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is needed to support students across multiple grade levels in a school setting located in Crestview, FL. This role involves working directly with students from grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 to assess and address their psychological and educational needs, contributing to their academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administration.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grades.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.
