Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher supporting students across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. The role is based in Lakeland, FL, and operates under a contract arrangement, providing essential support within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs
- Adapt lesson plans and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to support student progress
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and administrators
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students at Elementary, Middle, and High School levels
