An experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Intensive Care is needed for a dynamic cardiovascular unit located in Miami, FL. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work within a dedicated team managing complex cardiovascular cases in a 13-bed setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with critical care experience in ICU settings
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with cardiac catheterization lab procedures (LHC, RHC, peripherals, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology)
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and function independently
- Prior cath lab exposure preferred

Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or until all cases are completed
- Night Shift: On-call coverage after hours, weekends, and major holidays
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Phillips and GE systems
- Utilize electronic documentation tools such as Meditech and Mac Lab efficiently
- Respond to emergent patient needs and provide expert support in invasive cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
