Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Tooling Department supporting various production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Tool Grinder
Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Range: At least $25/hr with the right experience.
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift
What's the Job?
- Grinding and shaping tools for use in manufacturing equipment
- Collaborating with different departments to supply high-quality tooling
- Ensuring tools are precisely crafted to meet specifications
- Maintaining and calibrating grinding equipment regularly
- Adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures
What's Needed?
- Extensive experience in tool grinding and shaping
- Strong understanding of how tools work in lathes and other machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience in a manufacturing or tool-making environment preferred
