General Manager
Summary/ Overview
A general manager needs to perform a diverse range of duties including: making sure all customers have a great experience, possess deep knowledge of the establishments procedures and policies along with the companys culture including establishing and maintaining a positive store vibe. Since every HTeaO outlet is a high-volume environment, people working here need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and customer service oriented. Managers at HTeaO need to make sure that employees are completing their tasks and maintaining exemplary customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities Areas
Providing coaching and leadership training in all situations.
Develop, manage and assign task appropriately to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organize an dwell kept based on Company standards
Help increase store sales by ensuring all Company initiatives are executed and Community Marketing.
Analyze daily sales and expense information and take appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits.
Order stock for the stores to maintain required inventory levels to support the sales of the store.
Conduct scheduled inventories, research exceptions and create plans to achieve Company goals.
Oversees the merchandising of the store
Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain HTeaO image.
Communicate policy changes and new initiatives from Corporate office and DM to employees.
Schedule required Community Marketing time of 10 hours per week.
Skills
The General Manger is the captain of the ship, and in order to do so needs to have great interpersonal communication skills, team building skills, and leadership skills. Multitasking is a plus, but not mandatory. The General Manager works in close proximity with the District Manager and the Corporate Team.
Ability to use a computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the site, which includes analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, etc
Experience in Retail or Quick Service preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Ability to be calm and respectful in any situation.
Work Environment
The General Managers work environment is the store. They should be diligent in their efforts to maintain a clean and organized store front.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
