Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available within a dynamic K-12 school district in Kissimmee, FL. This on-site position offers a contract assignment beginning January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day). The role involves providing physical therapy services across multiple schools, generally maintaining one school assignment per day to facilitate focused interventions. Travel between schools within the district is required to effectively meet student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions tailored to K-12 students based on severity and individual caseload demands.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress and adapt therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies and procedures.
  • Manage workload effectively across various school settings within the district.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Florida Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Experience preferred across various levels; pay range adjusted based on years of experience:
    • 0-2 years: $45-$48/hr
    • 3-5 years: $48-$51/hr
    • 6-9 years: $51-$54/hr
    • 10+ years: $54-$57/hr
  • Ability to travel between multiple K-12 school locations within the district.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Kissimmee, Florida on-site position requiring presence in multiple district schools.
