Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shift Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or night shift from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
\n• Weekend shifts available Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
\n• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
\n• 4-5 days on-call per month
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1
\n• Work with GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T equipment
\n• Upcoming software upgrade from GE 23X to newest GE 30X with AirDL for faster scans
\n• Use Meditech EMR system
\n• Scrub color requirement: Black for Radiology department
\n• Parking available anywhere except ER parking
\n• Must be able to work independently with Radiologist availability for questions
\n• Perform neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of head, neck, and spine
\n• Conduct abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs-MRIs of aorta, liver, and kidneys
\n• Complete MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms
\n• Must demonstrate excellent patient care while maintaining safe MRI environment
\n• Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs preferred
\n• Willingness to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures
\n• Excellent communication skills required for phone and in-person interactions

This Level II Trauma Center is a 309-bed healthcare facility that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The MRI department features modern imaging technology and is planning significant upgrades including new software and potential expansion with a second scanner. The facility maintains high safety standards with established protocols and policies, and offers a collaborative work environment with experienced staff who prioritize excellent patient care and maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
