Service Shop Mechanic Manager – Full Time
Palmetto, FL | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
About Us:
We are a fast-growing diesel and heavy equipment repair facility specializing in truck refurbishing, hydraulics, mechanical diagnostics, welding, and paint. We’re looking for a hands-on Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, keep workflow moving, and lead a team of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel and hydraulic systems

Assign tasks and manage shop workload for efficiency

Order parts and track inventory

Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Communicate with customers and internal departments

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant shop

Hire, train, and motivate technicians
Required Experience & Skills:

Strong hydraulic repair experience (REQUIRED)

Advanced diesel engine and mechanical diagnostic skills

Leadership and team management experience in a shop setting

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in repair order and parts software
-
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekends only if necessary (rare)
Compensation & Incentives:
