We are current seeking a Sweeper Truck Driver for our asphalt milling operations division.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Sweeper Truck Driver to safely operate and maintain sweeper trucks as part of our asphalt milling operations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and possess industry experience. This role requires a safety-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting overall project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation and Driving: Safely operate the sweeper truck during milling operations to keep job sites clear and hazard-free. Maintain awareness of job site activities and adjust accordingly to ensure a safe environment.
- Equipment Management: Perform routine daily checks and maintenance of the sweeper truck, reporting mechanical issues and coordinating necessary repairs.
- Job Site Coordination: Collaborate with the milling crew and other operators to integrate sweeping tasks seamlessly into project timelines, ensuring efficient site preparation and maintenance.
- Debris Management: Efficiently collect and dispose of debris in compliance with safety and environmental regulations to maintain a clean job site.
- Safety Advocacy: Promote and adhere to company safety practices, proactively ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate logs and records related to truck operation, maintenance, and job site activities.
- Adaptability and Team Support: Be willing to perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team and adapt to changing project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the asphalt milling or roadway construction industry, particularly operating sweeper trucks, is preferred.
- Safety-Minded: Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and adherence to safety standards.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate and maintain sweeper trucks and perform basic troubleshooting when needed.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with the operations team and communicate clearly.
- Flexibility: Willing to work varying shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as project needs dictate.
