Salary: $90,000–$110,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM start

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Cotton Images is a privately owned screen printing, embroidery, and garment-dye manufacturing company with over 35 years in business. From their 39,000 sq ft Doral facility, a team of 130 produces for major national and global brands including Hard Rock, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC, and the American Red Cross. This is a deadline-driven production environment where reliability and execution matter.
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a true Maintenance Manager role. The person is accountable for planning, prioritizing, directing, and verifying maintenance work across approximately 60 production and facility assets. Repairs are executed by technicians and vendors. The responsibility is to ensure the right work happens at the right time, to standard, and with minimal disruption to production.
UpKeep CMMS is already implemented with assets, PMs, and workflows. This person will own system discipline, reporting, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own daily work planning, assignments, follow-up, and closeout
• Manage PM schedules, work orders, backlog, and data quality in UpKeep
• Produce maintenance KPIs and action plans for ownership
• Investigate repeat failures and implement root-cause solutions
• Coordinate vendors, review quotes, and verify work quality
• Communicate downtime, priorities, and maintenance windows to production
• Enforce OSHA maintenance safety standards including LOTO and guarding
• Maintain readiness of critical spare parts through CMMS tracking
• Coach technicians, address performance issues, and enforce accountability
EQUIPMENT SCOPE
• Automatic screen printing presses
• Industrial conveyor dryers and ovens
• Embroidery machines and heat presses
• Garment dye equipment
• Air compressors and pneumatic systems
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility infrastructure
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments
• Minimum 3 years supervising maintenance technicians or skilled trades
• Demonstrated experience owning maintenance planning and CMMS workflows
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
• Strong computer skills including Excel and cloud-based tools
• OSHA familiarity for maintenance operations
• Comfortable holding people accountable and addressing performance issues
EDUCATION
High school diploma required. Technical training or equivalent progressive experience required. Bachelor's degree a plus.
PREFERRED
• OSHA 30
• CMRP or CPMM
• Experience in screen printing, textiles, or light manufacturing
• Direct UpKeep CMMS experience
• Lean or TPM exposure
• EPA 608 Universal certification
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
• This is not a wrench-turning position
• This is not a passive coordinator role
• This is not an unstructured environment
