Nurse Practitioner
Inpatient Diabetes & Glycemic Management (Non-ICU)
Hospital-Based | Mount Sinai Medical Center | Block Schedule
GlyCare is a hospital-based group practice specializing in inpatient diabetes and glycemic management. Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants deliver protocol-driven, evidence-based care to hospitalized adults on Med-Surg and Step-Down units (non-ICU), with endocrinology support.

What You’ll Do
- Provide consultative inpatient diabetes/glycemic management (non-ICU)
- Independently round using established protocols
- Manage ~25 patients/day (higher census up to 28–35)
- Participate in rotating phone-only after-hours call (4 to 5 times per month)
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida NP license
- AGNP or ACNP
- Inpatient experience required
- EMR proficiency (Epic or similar)
- New grads welcome
- DEA not required
- Minimum 1-year contract commitment
