Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Tallahassee, FL! This is a 4 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist
Location: Tallahassee, FL 32306
Shift Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rotational Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $19-22/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
- Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data accuracy
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
- Complete daily activities accurately and on time under supervision
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
