Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist for an interim overnight position. This role involves working a 7 on, 7 off schedule, covering the hours of 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM from Wednesday through Tuesday. The initial assignment is set to begin August 30 and spans 12 weeks, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and oversee the accuracy of medications dispensed during overnight shifts.
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities, ensuring proper handling of IV mixes, phone inquiries, and medication requests.
• Utilize EPIC order entry system efficiently.
• Collaborate with a pharmacy team operating Omnicell Cabinets and robotic automation; training on automation is available.
• Maintain professional attire in teal scrubs or equivalent with a white coat.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida pharmacist license required.
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Ability to manage workflow overnight with support from one pharmacist and one technician from 11 PM to 7 AM.
• Comfortable participating in a minimum of one week-long overnight training/orientation prior to starting.

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off rotation.
• Payroll weeks run Sunday through Saturday.
