Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a growing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food & beverage operations, staff management, cost control, and customer service in a fast-paced bar and grill environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bar and grill operations, ensuring smooth service and operational excellence
  • Lead, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house, bar staff, and kitchen staff
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service and hospitality standards
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control for food, beverage, and supplies
  • Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and profitability; implement strategies to improve revenue
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu execution, specials, and promotions
  • Maintain cash handling procedures, POS accuracy, and daily reporting
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to drive traffic and repeat business


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in a bar, grill, or full-service restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage programs, and food service
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop staff
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting
  • Valid food safety and alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain)


Preferred Skills

  • Experience increasing sales and managing high-volume service
  • Knowledge of local alcohol laws and compliance
  • Event planning or promotion experience
  • Strong guest-recovery and conflict-resolution skills
