Job Title: Bar & Grill Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a growing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food & beverage operations, staff management, cost control, and customer service in a fast-paced bar and grill environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bar and grill operations, ensuring smooth service and operational excellence
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house, bar staff, and kitchen staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service and hospitality standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control for food, beverage, and supplies
- Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and profitability; implement strategies to improve revenue
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu execution, specials, and promotions
- Maintain cash handling procedures, POS accuracy, and daily reporting
- Support marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to drive traffic and repeat business
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in a bar, grill, or full-service restaurant
- Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage programs, and food service
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop staff
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting
- Valid food safety and alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Skills
- Experience increasing sales and managing high-volume service
- Knowledge of local alcohol laws and compliance
- Event planning or promotion experience
- Strong guest-recovery and conflict-resolution skills
