Job Description
We are establishing a licensed Home Health Agency in Florida and seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Director of Nursing (DON).&nbsp;
Responsibilities (initial phase):
<ul>
<li>
Serve as the agency’s Director of Nursing for licensure and regulatory compliance.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with agency leadership to develop and maintain policies and procedures.
</li>
<li>
Provide oversight of clinical services to ensure patient care meets state and federal standards.
</li>
<li>
Participate in state/Medicare surveys and compliance activities.
</li>
<li>
Available on a part-time/as-needed basis until patient census increases.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
Current Florida RN license in good standing.
</li>
<li>
Minimum [2–3] years of nursing experience (home health experience preferred).
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of AHCA and CMS regulations a plus.
</li>
<li>
Strong organizational and communication skills.
</li>
</ul>
Compensation:
<ul>
<li>
Monthly stipend/retainer for regulatory compliance responsibilities.
</li>
<li>
Opportunity to transition to expanded hours/full-time as agency census grows.
</li>
