Legal Administrative Assistant – Litigation
Tampa, Florida (Onsite, with 2 remote days per month)
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support its Litigation Department in the newly renovated Tampa office. This is a full-time, onsite position with the flexibility to work from home two days per month. The team is collaborative and supportive—those placed in 2023 remain with the firm and are thriving.
Responsibilities

Draft and revise pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda

Format court documents in compliance with state and federal rules, including TOAs and TOCs

File and e-file documents in state and federal courts

Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning, copying, and delivery prep

Open new client files and maintain organized records

Enter attorney timekeeping and prepare billing memoranda and expense reports

Maintain accurate client contact information and assist with event mailing lists

Provide backup support to other legal assistants and phone coverage as needed

Stay current with firm software and procedures through ongoing training
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of litigation legal administrative or paralegal experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
