Mobile Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter in the Land O Lakes area. This is a long term project!
MUST HAVE CHILL WATER AND CARBON STEEL EXPERIENCE!
Responsibilities:
- Plan pipe system layout and installation according to engineering blueprint specifications.
- Inspect, examine and test installed pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation or other methods.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
- Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings or related equipment, according to specifications by threading joints or compression fittings.
- Turn valves to isolate water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches.
- Cut or thread pipes to specifications, using tools such as chop saws, band saws, pipe threaders or tube benders.
- Identify, isolate and fix leaks in a piping system.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of chilled water pipe fitting experience
- 5-7 years of carbon steel pipe fitting experience
- Previous experience on commercial projects
- Able to read schematics and blueprints
