Hotel Maintenance Technician
Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent
Overview
CD Staffing is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a well-known hotel in Pompano Beach. This role ensures the hotel remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests. Multiple positions are available:
- Full-Time 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Part-Time Day Shift
- Part-Time 2nd Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Complete basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel management and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and prevent potential issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours situations as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and local code requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of at least one trade: electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexible availability, especially for Maintenance Tech II roles.
- Experience using hand and power tools safely.
