We are looking for a Plumbing Superintendent to work closely with our Plumbing Project Manager and oversee jobs in the field. The right person must be highly experienced in the Commercial Plumbing field and have a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Plumbing Construction experience.

This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and field coordination of all aspects of plumbing projects. The Superintendent will work as part of the field leadership team and will be responsible for the following:

§ Manage the installation of plumbing construction coordination. Oversee schedule of installation of systems by managing, training, and directing sub crews.

§ Participate in review of MEP related shop drawings and submittals.

§ Assist in the development of full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.

§ Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.

§ Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants.

§ Maintain and manage inventory of onsite materials.

§ Maintain and submit daily and weekly reporting records.

§ Coordinate and verify all layouts and installation of slabs, rough ins, top outs, and trims.

WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

§ Commercial Plumbing Construction Experience: 5 Years (Preferred)

§ Strong Construction Safety Experience

§ Strong grasp of plumbing construction concepts and applicable codes. Thorough knowledge of plumbing installation and the technical aspects of the trade, combined with a strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints.

§ Able to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues as it relates to MEP design and construction.

§ Good understanding of MEP related safety regulations.

§ Ability to run complex meetings with multiple attendees, issue minutes promptly, and follow up with participants for deliverables.

§ Proficient in the use of current virtual design and construction software is preferred.

§ Proficient computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam.

§ Comfortable in an open and collaborative working environment.

§ Excellent listening, interpersonal/communication, and conflict resolution skills.

§ Excellent organizational skills.

§ Ability to create and support a positive team environment.

§ A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.

Must speak English.

Driver’s license required.
