Vacatia is seeking an accomplished Managing Director to provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for a flagship vacation ownership property. As Managing Director, you will serve as the senior-most leader on property—setting the vision, driving performance, and shaping a culture of excellence for a resort team of 100+ associates. You will balance big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership, ensuring world-class service, strong financial results, and long-term asset value.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Business
- Own the resort’s financial performance, P&L, budgets, and capital planning
- Drive KPI results, operational efficiency, and risk management
- Partner with corporate and regional leaders to execute Vacatia’s strategic goals
Elevate the Guest & Owner Experience
- Champion service excellence across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Activities, and Security
- Ensure exceptional standards of quality, cleanliness, and amenities
- Build systems for preventive maintenance, quality assurance, and rapid issue resolution
Build a High-Performance Culture
- Inspire, coach, and develop a strong leadership team
- Lead performance management, succession planning, and ongoing development
- Be a visible, hands-on leader who sets the tone for accountability, respect, and results
Represent the Brand
- Serve as the face of the resort for owners, community partners, and internal stakeholders
- Align daily operations with Vacatia’s values, standards, and long-term vision
What You Bring
- 10+ years of senior leadership in hotel, resort, or vacation ownership operations
- Proven success leading large, complex teams and high-volume properties
- Strong financial expertise with P&L, forecasting, and capital budgeting
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- Bilingual strongly preferred
- A leadership style that motivates, communicates clearly, and drives measurable results
