Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is open for the upcoming school year in a K-12 school located in Palm Beach, Florida. This role is designed for a qualified professional committed to supporting students communication needs across all grade levels. The position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week over 5 days, providing stability and consistency throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP Certification (FL SLP-CCC) is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, K-12.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment and intervention.
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech therapy into students learning plans.
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
