Job DescriptionPosition Description: A Cannabis Harvest Supervisor is responsible for leading the team that harvests, dries, cures, trims, and prepares cannabis flower for processing or packaging. This hands-on, fast-paced role ensures high-quality standards, strict regulatory compliance (such as Seed-to-Sale tracking), and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
\tTeam Leadership & Training: Manage, train, and mentor a team of harvesters, trimmers, and post-harvest technicians.
\tHarvest Operations: Coordinate the daily activities of cutting, bucking (removing buds from stems), drying, and trimming.
\tQuality Control (QC): Ensure all products meet company and industry standards,, including monitoring for proper drying, moisture levels, and identifying pests or pathogens.
\tRegulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous records for state-mandated tracking systems (e.g., METRC), ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
\tProduction Scheduling: Develop and execute schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
\tInventory & Equipment Management: Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of tools and equipment; manage inventory of harvest supplies and WIP (work-in-process).
Required Qualifications
\tExperience: 24 years of experience in cannabis cultivation or post-harvest, with at least 12 years in a leadership role.
\tKnowledge: Strong understanding of cannabis plant biology, trimming techniques, drying/curing processes, and pest/pathogen identification.
\tCompliance Knowledge: Familiarity with state cannabis regulations and seed-to-sale software.
\tPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand/sit for long periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift up to 50 lbs (sometimes up to 75-100 lbs with assistance).
\tAge/Background: Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check to obtain a state cannabis license/badge.

\tEfficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
\tMust be 21 years of age.
This is a fast-paced environment that often requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks, gloves, and hairnets.
Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures and high levels of plant dust/particles.
