Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing concrete-related projects and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing concrete construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with flatwork, vertical construction, commercial, high-rise, and health care projects is preferred.
