Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is needed to provide health room coverage in a K-12 school setting in Deland, FL. This contract position runs through the current school year, with an immediate start date and concluding on May 28th.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day health care support for students and staff in the school health room
• Administer medications, perform basic nursing procedures, and monitor students health status
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with school staff and parents as necessary
• Assist with emergency care and support health screenings within the school district
• Follow established health protocols and district policies to ensure a safe school environment

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure
• Experience working as an LPN/LVN in a school setting preferred
• Ability to manage a health room and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, parents, and school personnel
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures

• District-wide, with primary assignment in Deland, FL

Contract Details:

• Duration: Immediate start through May 28th
• Schedule: Full-time with approximately 35 hours per week
