In this role, you'll take the lead on installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties. Your Responsibilities:
- Perform Maintenance & Repairs on residential and commercial irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose System Issues including pipe breaks, valve and wire faults, pump problems, and other system inefficiencies.
- Conduct Routine Service Visits to evaluate system performance and provide preventive maintenance.
- Inspect All System Components to ensure each part of the system is functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Accurately Complete Documentation such as irrigation inspection forms and service paperwork.
- Deliver Top-Notch Customer Service by clearly communicating with clients, educating them on system conditions, and recommending solutions in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain the company vehicle and ensure the vehicle is maintained in good condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Proven knowledge of residential and commercial irrigation systems, including pipe repairs, valve/wire locating, and pump diagnostics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Self-motivated with the ability towork independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- A desire to grow professionally and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and inventory usage.
- Provide detailed reports to supervisors and customers regarding work completed and recommendations for system enhancements.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with the office team and management to ensure smooth operations and accurate reports.
Professionalism:
- Represent the company with integrity and respect on every job site, whether you're interacting with a homeowner or managing a commercial account.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, including appropriate work attire, vehicle organization, and a positive attitude.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and coworkers, providing honest recommendations and updates as needed.
- Follow all company protocols and safety procedures to ensure the quality and safety of your work.
- Take pride in craftsmanship by delivering high-quality service and attention to detail in every task.
- Be accountable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative in solving problems and mentoring others.
- Protect company equipment and resources by treating tools, vehicles, and materials with care and responsibility.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for using tools and irrigation equipment
- Must navigate uneven terrain and enter/exit vehicles frequently
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work as needed
