Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to manage and deliver structural projects across various building types, including commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, storage facilities, public sector projects, and other large-scale construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood in medium- and high-rise construction.
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits as required.
  • Provide advanced structural design expertise and contribute to project and peer review activities.
  • Lead projects from proposal and scope development through construction completion, ensuring client and team objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and delegate work to international engineering and drafting teams, collaborating to achieve project milestones.
  • Partner with fellow engineers to share expertise and balance resources across multiple offices.
  • Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and professional experience.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. in Structural Engineering preferred).
  • Licensed Florida PE.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-story building design within a structural consulting environment.
  • Proven experience managing projects and client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with structural engineering software (ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, EnerCalc).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
